Last week, I told you about the problems I was having using my primary photo editing software on the RAW files from my newest camera. After spending way too much time trying to track down the issue, I think I found it.
Long story short, the patch for the software that was supposed to allow it to edit my new camera’s RAW images didn’t install properly. Suffice it to say that the installation process was a mess. I finally resolved the problem by removing the editing software completely and then re-installing the version with the latest RAW image editing capabilities. Viola! End of problem.
While this was a clunky way of getting the issue fixed, it seems to have worked. Of course, once it reads this post, I’m sure it’ll hang up just to mess with me! (I can’t prove it, but I think there’s already some artificial intelligence (AI) in the software I’m using. I think I heard it snicker at me the other day, but I’m not sure.)
Now that the photo editing software looks like its running, I’ll have to edit some photos from the new camera and get them posted. Assuming, of course, that I can find some pictures worth posting!
