Fourth of July Ride Review

Thanks to all of the participants in our Fourth of July ride.  I had a wonderful time, despite some of the antics and practical jokes played on me and several others.  All of the antics were done in good humor, so no harm, no foul.

A special tip of the tri-cornered hat to Ross (your knowledge of the history of the area was superb and greatly appreciated–you really should write that book we talked about), Michelle (your endless supply of smiles and enthusiasm were infectious–and I know it wasn’t the wine). D’Linda (your can-do attitude and willingness to lend a hand, no matter the topic or time of day inspired us all–you were always a bright spot), and to Dave (your mechanical skills were nothing short of awesome–you put the rest of us to shame with your in-depth knowledge of how everything worked)!

I salute all of the participants and all of the volunteers who made the ride so enjoyable and memorable.  We couldn’t have done it without you.  Thank you!

As I promised at the conclusion of our ride, I’ll get the photos from this get-together posted far faster than I did from our Spring Ride.  Based on the number of images taken, it’ll be quite a bit of work to sort through them and select only the best ones for the group to enjoy.  Reminder, only family-friendly photos will be posted.

Now that I think about it, I’m surprised I got this post out as quickly as I did.  Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks!  Unless he sees something shiny and then all bets are off!

If you’d like to continue to give me a hard time, share your thoughts, or leave a comment, please contact me.

As always, thanks for your continued support!
