9-11

Please take a moment out of your busy day today to remember, in your own way, the events that transpired on September 11th, 2001.

Like most Americans, I was stunned, saddened, and angered after United Flight 11 smashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.  I can remember exactly what I was doing when the second plane, American Airlines Flight 175, slammed into the South Tower.  Then American Airlines Flight 77 sliced through the western side of the Pentagon.  Finally United Airline Flight 93 crashed in a field by Stoneycreek Township in Somerset County, outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

More Americans lost their lives on 9-11-2001 than died during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.  Think about that for a moment.

No matter what your color, creed, religion, political affiliation, race, or any of the other artificial barriers that seemingly divide us, we should stand united when it comes to the events of 9-11-2001.  We were, and remain, all Americans.
